SACRED aims to help us read the whole Bible. It stands for ‘simply a chapter read each day’.

One chapter of the Bible is read every day  and  the whole Bible  is covered over 40 months.

​

SACRED begins with Mark’s Gospel and ends with John’s, so it starts and finishes with the story of Jesus.

In addition, each day there is a page of accompanying notes. These aren’t meant to be a detailed commentary, but a help to encourage you to keep going.

 The main objective is to immerse yourself in God’s word,
and see what he may be saying to you through it.

​

We will start reading on 1st September 2025 

We will have a group breakfast for all who are taking part on the first Saturday of each month starting on October 4th at 9am - 10.30am at Windmill Community Church Henwood Road
