SACRED aims to help us read the whole Bible. It stands for ‘simply a chapter read each day’.

One chapter of the Bible is read every day  and  the whole Bible  is covered over 40 months.

​

SACRED begins with Mark’s Gospel and ends with John’s, so it starts and finishes with the story of Jesus.

In addition, each day there is a page of accompanying notes. These aren’t meant to be a detailed commentary, but a help to encourage you to keep going.

 The main objective is to immerse yourself in God’s word,
and see what he may be saying to you through it.

We started reading on 1st September 2025 

We have a group breakfast for all who are taking part on the first Saturday of each month at 9am - 10.30am at Windmill Community Church Henwood Road
