Continually Building Discipleship Communities
We believe that God is a missional God. He sent his son Jesus to show his love for mankind. The bible says, "for God so loved the world..." Which includes everyone. Whichever nationality or social standing, the young or the old, male or female.
The church (the people of God) have been invited to join in with God's mission to the world, it is known as The Great Commission
Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
As followers of Jesus, we want to obey his commands. This means planting new communities, that seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ, who can be trained to make disciples themselves.
Discipleship is not a one off sprint, it’s a journey of life. We believe discipleship is best carried out through community, even though individuals may walk alongside others, it is still best done together.
